Tide & Waves Unearth Shipwreck on Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

In the mid 1980s, my friend Wes Bassett and his brother Reece photographed these remains of a wooden ship. Hand-hewn timbers indicate the shipwreck is an old one, but nether Wes nor I have found any information about this ship. Since these 15 photos were taken, the tide and waves have again covered this wreck on the beach . If anyone can identify this ship, or knows its history, please contact me at the e-mail address below. Thank you.
